Beazer East, Inc

Sabine & Waters, Inc. was hired to assist Beazer East, Inc. at the Former Koppers Wood Treatment Facility in Charleston, SC with local permitting, marsh restoration design and implementation, Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) negotiation and mitigation design, and permit compliance oversight during construction.

Middleton Place

Sabine & Waters, Inc. has been providing a variety of environmental and forest management services to Middleton Place in Dorchester County, South Carolina for over 20 years.

Middleton Place was the home of Henry Middleton, President of the First Continental Congress, and his son Arthur, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Charles Duell continues to maintain this National Historic Landmark. With America’s oldest landscape gardens, the Middleton Place House and stable yards are situated on 6,500 acres of lowcountry forestland.

Forts Gordon, Jackson, & Stewart

Sabine & Waters, Inc. performed a complete timber resource analysis of Fort Jackson Military Reservation, Richland County, South Carolina; Fort Gordon Military Reservation, Augusta, Georgia; and Fort Stewart Military Reservation, Hinesville, Georgia. This effort involved a timber cruise on approximately 385,000 acres of forestland.

Charleston County Parks & Recreation

CCPRC has employed Sabine & Waters, Inc. as their natural resource manger on park properties throughout their park system. Their goal is to develop appropriate land management and forest management plans to best utilize and protect the resources.

Dorchester County

Dorchester County is neighbored by Charleston and Berkeley Counties. This region of South Carolina is seeing tremendous growth in population and industries. Dorchester County hired Sabine & Waters, Inc. to develop digital cadastral maps and a database for their Geographic Information System (GIS). This database will be used by the Economic Development Board, Tax Assessor, Planning, Management Information Services (MIS) and Public Works Departments.
