Mr. Smoak is a Senior Ecologist and the Director of the Environmental Services Division of Sabine & Waters. He is responsible for the operations and scheduling for the Division along with managing the financial and technical needs of major projects. Mr. Smoak's professional experience is in forestry and environmental consulting. His particular area of expertise is in wetland and forest ecology. Mr. Smoak has worked extensively with federal and state environmental regulatory processes and he is proficient in wetland identification, delineation, assessment, master planning, mitigation and permitting. He has designed and implemented complex wetland mitigation plans and he has developed detailed monitoring plans to tract the success of created, restored, or enhanced wetland areas.
